In a pharmacy, picking up a prescription which turns out to be from five years ago or more - a syringe, with assemblable parts including a plastic concertina at one end to insert the contents into.
Also, a disturbing, hooked scalpel I don't want to take.
Later, my father stands over my seat, furious. Amanda and I explain the provenance of these items.
