Wednesday. Weak after an aborted Tai Chi session. I do not have the stamina to continue since pleurisy last October. I think I am too far behind to catch up. I will learn the warm up exercises and get fit before rejoining in August.

Everything is happening fast. My partner's birthday yesterday. The house is full of new mugs and books and music and DVDs. Her divorce came through today. Pink champagne in fridge. We are headed to Totnes tomorrow where she is giving a reading.

Since Christmas I have been to Chicago and Tuscany and we have plans for Glastonbury and Portsmouth. Possibly a summer school in Southern Spain.

Capote has been in my head. The performance is so strong I can't shake it. Also Hex Enduction Hour.

Have been preparing poetry submissions today. Some of them are stale to me now. I want to clear the decks to concentrate on the newer material. The soil is damper, less spent in these.

Wrist aches after tv threw itself against my hand a few weeks back. This and the pleurisy weakness flap against me like wet washing every now and then; remind me they're there.
